Subjects: Darling Brody
Long time SL member, weapons developer. Has developed SIM killing tech, and almost certainly used it, but never gotten caught. Dangerous, keep out a watchful eye.
Now the interesting thing about this is that back in 2007 when the above article was created the author Sen Pixie was on my friends list. Sen Pixie was also in competition with me for making and selling Tardis's in the land of Doctor Who. I was an estate manager for the shop there too.
I last spoke to Sen Pixie in 2008 when his vending machine was returned from the Doctor Who shop in Dimidia due to the owner of the land selling up and leaving SL. I told him I dont know what is happening and he apparently found his answer elsewhere. It was a perfectly polite conversation that gave no indication that Sen Pixie considered me to be "dangerious".
Now 3 years later I find out that someone who was in competition with me attempted to use the JLU as a means of having me banned.
This raises the question of how often this kind of dirty trick is used against a competing creator to gain a market edge.
I would hope the JLU will carefully search their wiki and remove any reference to me that are unfounded. With the exception that my avatar is so sexy that it might be a violation of the TOS.
I understand that they have a policy of not removing information, and I hope they understand I have a policy of seeking damages for defamation.

Darling, I have not been a member of the Justice League in a long time. I no longer have any say over what they post on their site (or keep posted). That entry was made a very long time ago, after you and I got in a rather heated discussion at Bazzerbill's place. We were both little more than cocky noobs at the time, and you were bragging about how you could bring down a sim anytime you wanted (even rezzed the device that you claimed could do it), and stated it wouldn’t bother you to do so. Long before you and I both were responsible business people. Trust me, this information getting released over a year after my involvement ended has hurt my business far more than anyone I mentioned during my time with the JLU.
As for your blog post, your approach to Doctor Who merchandize was so different that I never really considered you a competitor. My goal was always canonicity. I was *not* using the JLU as a tool to defame you, or push you out of business. You loved at that time in your SL existence to brag about how you had the ability to script devices that could cause wanton destruction anytime you felt like it. My guess is that it was a very good business ploy to sell weapons.
Since then, we have both grown up with regards to our SL existence, which is part of why I resigned the JLU. Had I had the ability to remove the entry after becoming an active JIRA member and seeing how seriously you take protecting SL these days, I would have.
Bottom line is this – the JLU Wiki is a private site that was written for a small group of people to exchange information outside of SL. Not all of it is accurate, and much of it is outdated. But the members know this. Especially an entry that old, is taken with a grain of salt. The site was illegally hacked (I believe that the server logs from the hack have been turned over to federal authorities), and posted by a group that has made it their now four year long mission to destroy each and every member of the JLU – even former members – because they think it’s fun.
I wish I had been able to remove the entry, and I apologize for not being able to. Don’t let yourself get sucked in. The Herald is a rag who is dedicated to stirring crap, not reporting actual news. A lot of people were hurt here, including you, me, all the JLU members, and lots of others. All while a couple 20-something’s sit in their mommy’s basements giving each other high 5’s at making everyone all upset.

TheSASTAP is Sen Pixie's blog account name, and is an accurate copy of the notecard he sent me in world. Re: Above post.
ReplyDeleteKalel Venkman (JLU leader) and I have also come to a satisfactory agreement about the information stored about me on their database.
Although I am somewhat dispointed that they are unwilling to name me as the cutest avatar in SL. That would have been really cool, should their database every be published publicly again.
oh well, thats a burden I will have to live with.
Darling, I consider you pretty dangerous too. But not malicious. Dangerous and benevolent is a good thing, IMO.
